Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 28 January 2026  |  Last Updated: 28 January 2026

1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms carry specific meanings: "Service" refers to the watch repair, maintenance, and refinishing work performed by chrondele. "User" or "Client" refers to any individual who engages with our website or submits a timepiece for service. "We", "Us", or "Our" refers to chrondele, operating at 28 Jalan Bukit Bintang, 55100 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. "Agreement" refers to the binding relationship formed when you use our website or engage our services.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website at https://chrondele.club or engaging our watch repair services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our website or services.

You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are engaging our services on behalf of another party, you represent that you have the authority to do so.

3. Description of Services

chrondele provides professional watch repair and maintenance services from our workshop in Kuala Lumpur. Our core offerings include movement restoration for mechanical and quartz calibres, crystal and case refinishing, and battery and seal servicing for quartz timepieces.

Service availability may vary depending on the specific model, condition of the timepiece, and availability of replacement parts. We reserve the right to decline a service request if, upon inspection, the work falls outside our area of competence or if suitable components cannot be sourced.

4. Service Process and Intake

When you submit a timepiece for service, our technician will perform an initial assessment and provide a description of the recommended work along with an estimated cost. You will be asked to confirm your acceptance before any work begins.

If, during the course of servicing, additional issues are discovered that were not apparent during the initial assessment, we will contact you to discuss the findings and obtain your approval before proceeding with any supplementary work. Additional charges may apply in such cases.

Timepieces left at our workshop are logged with a service ticket. You will receive a reference number for tracking your repair.

5. User Responsibilities

Clients are expected to provide accurate information about the timepiece being submitted, including its history, known issues, and any prior repairs performed elsewhere. Failure to disclose relevant information may affect the outcome or timeline of the service.

When using our website, you agree not to: submit false or misleading information through our contact forms, attempt to interfere with the functioning of our website, use our content without prior written consent, or engage in any activity that could harm our services or reputation.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the chrondele website — including text, images, logos, design elements, and layout — is the property of chrondele or its content providers and is protected under applicable Malaysian intellectual property laws. You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use only.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our website content without express written permission from chrondele.

7. Pricing, Payment, and Fees

All prices listed on our website are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and represent starting rates. The final cost may vary depending on the condition of the timepiece, the parts required, and the complexity of the work involved.

Payment is due upon completion of the service and prior to the collection of your timepiece. We accept payment by bank transfer, debit card, and credit card. A detailed invoice will be provided for every service rendered.

Should you choose to cancel a service after work has commenced, you may be liable for costs already incurred for parts ordered or work completed up to the point of cancellation.

8. Service Warranty

chrondele provides a warranty period following the completion of each service. The specific warranty duration depends on the type of work performed and will be communicated to you at the time of collection. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials used by our technicians.

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, water exposure beyond the watch's rated resistance, impacts, unauthorised third-party repairs, or natural wear and tear. Warranty claims require the original service receipt and reference number.

9. Collection of Timepieces

Once your timepiece is ready, we will notify you via your preferred contact method. Collection should be arranged within 30 days of notification. Timepieces not collected within 90 days of notification may incur a storage fee.

Identification or the original service ticket may be required upon collection. If you wish to authorise another individual to collect on your behalf, please inform us in advance with their details.

10. Limitation of Liability

While we exercise the utmost care in handling every timepiece, chrondele's liability for any loss or damage arising from our services is limited to the service fee paid for the relevant repair. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions, undisclosed defects, or issues that arise from the natural ageing of watch components.

Our website and its content are provided on an "as is" basis. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website.

11. Disclaimers

The information presented on our website is intended for general informational purposes and should not be taken as professional advice on watch valuation, authentication, or investment. While we strive to keep our content accurate and up to date, we make no representations about the completeness or accuracy of any information on this site.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold chrondele, its employees, and partners harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms and Conditions, your misuse of our website, or any misrepresentation regarding the timepieces you submit for service.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate a service engagement if, in our reasonable judgement, continuing would not be in the best interest of either party. In such instances, we will return the timepiece to you and only charge for work that has been completed.

You may discontinue use of our website at any time. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will remain in effect.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kuala Lumpur.

Before pursuing formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve disputes through direct communication. You may reach us at [email protected] to initiate this process.

15. General Provisions

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and chrondele regarding your use of our website and services.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. Our failure to exercise any right under these terms does not constitute a waiver of that right. We may assign our rights and obligations under these terms without restriction.

16. Changes to These Terms

chrondele reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review these terms periodically. Your continued use of our website or services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
